The 41st Annual Armadillo Roast

The 41st annual Armadillo Roast was held on March 24, 2012, at the Rancho el Cenote. home of UF professors Susan Milbrath and Mark Brenner. Sadly, the Roast venue of the past several years, the Austin Carey Pavilion, burned down.

This year's Roast was hosted by Melissa Ayvaz, Kacie Allen, Stephanie Boothby, James Crandall,?Justin Dunnavant, Michelle Eusebio, and Michael Wylde.

This year's mystery meat was llama. The winners of the mystery meat contest were David Markus, Andrea Palmiotto and Lisa Duffy.

The winners of the annual pie contest were: Susan deFrance (Tempered - Chocolate/Pecan Pie), Melissa Ayvas (Untempered - Key Lime Pie), and Jeremy Pye (Decorated - Blueberry/Strawberry Pie with Arrowhead shaped crust).

The winners of the horseshoe competition were: Neill Wallis and Zach Gilmore
