Charles H. Fairbanks
Charles H. Fairbanks was the chair of the Anthropolgy Department at the University of Florida from 1963 to 1970. During his tenure as chair, the department initiated its M.A. and Ph.D. programs. As a southeastern and historical archaeologist he worked as such sites as: Ocmulgee, Fort Frederica, and Fort Center.
